Lin Wan returns to her grandma's old house in the dusty alley—sealed for three years—after her grandma's passing, only to find a stranger, Gu Zhao, boiling ginger tea in the living room. He claims her grandma rented the house to him six months ago. Lin Wan wants to sell the house to let go of the past; Gu Zhao refuses to move out.
