The "Fulai Breakfast Shop" at the old alley has stood for forty years, and Grandma Zhou Xiufen clings to her colander—her granddaughter Lin Xiaoman wants to replace the coal stove with an electric steamer, swap the handwritten menu for an electronic screen, and even rename "Fulai" to a trendy name. Until Xiaoman finds Grandma's old lunch box at the bottom of the chest, inside are Grandpa's old notes: "Boil the porridge for forty minutes; life is sweet when it's slow." It turns out every spoonful of porridge holds the memory code of Grandma and Grandpa's years. When Xiaoman polishes the old signboard and adds a small blackboard that reads "Today's Special: Grandpa's Soft-Boiled Egg with Runny Yolk", old customers line up smiling, new ones take photos, and Grandma's wrinkles finally break into a smile—The longest-lasting fireworks are old warmth wrapped in new light.
