Struggling painter Lin Mo rescues an injured white fox in the mountains, unaware it's a millennium-old fox spirit. In gratitude, the fox bestows him with 'Golden Eyes' that see through human hearts. Overnight fame turns sinister as Lin Mo discovers these eyes not only reveal lies and schemes, but also entangle him in a love-hate saga spanning three realms.
