Ye Chen, the youngest disciple of the Hidden Gate, has been doted on by seven senior sisters for twenty years. When he descends the mountain, he carries a "revenge order"—clues to his family's massacre point to the Gu family, a prominent clan in Kyoto. To get close to the enemy, he accidentally signs a contract marriage with Gu Wanning, the Gu family's runaway bride. He plans to use this identity to investigate, but his sisters take turns arriving in Kyoto to "cause trouble": the medical fairy sister cures Gu Wanning's terminal illness, the business tycoon sister acquires the Gu family's assets, and the martial saint sister knocks the Gu family's bodyguards three meters away… While Ye Chen is annoyed by "how much my sisters dote on me," he discovers Gu Wanning is more deeply involved in the massacre— the jade pendant she hides under her pillow matches the one around his neck?
