Architecture graduate Lin Manman accidentally gets old blueprints of a vintage bungalow with a handwritten note from young architect Lu Yu 20 years ago on the back. Following the blueprints to visit the old house, Manman unexpectedly stumbles on Lu Yu trapped in space-time misalignment—he’s fighting to save the house from demolition, and Manman’s modern design inspiration surprisingly echoes his predicament. Across a 20-year time difference, the two evolve from pen-pal-like online confidants to secret collaborators, yet repeatedly miss each other due to space-time rules. Their shared regret and disputes over the house gradually narrow the distance between them amid space-time chaos.
