Breaking into the World with a Mason’s Trowel

Lin A Qiang, a bricklayer from a rural area, ventures into the city with his family’s old mason’s trowel, but faces repeated setbacks and is even bullied by the foreman for his rustic manner. By chance, he meets Su Qing, a rising designer advocating “rejuvenating old items”. They clash over ideas at first, but soon find they complement each other: A Qiang’s superb trowel skills are the core of Su Qing’s project, while Su Qing’s creative concepts open a new horizon for A Qiang.
