Lin A Qiang, a bricklayer from a rural area, ventures into the city with his family’s old mason’s trowel, but faces repeated setbacks and is even bullied by the foreman for his rustic manner. By chance, he meets Su Qing, a rising designer advocating “rejuvenating old items”.
