Lin Xiaoman, a corporate drone, finds an old video labeled "Banned" on her grandfather’s death anniversary. When she plays it out of curiosity, she hears her grandfather’s "cross-time message": "Grandkid, this tape is the counterattack kit I left for our family!" Amazingly, the video’s content directly mirrors reality—when her mom is sabotaged at a square dance competition, the "cultivation dance steps" from grandpa in the tape help her win; when her dad’s small supermarket is closing due to competitors, the "fortune-attracting charm" tutorial from the tape gets him a big client; even Lin Xiaoman reunites with her childhood sweetheart Su Chen, now a cold lawyer, thanks to a "childhood clip" in the video. But in Episode 5, she notices grandpa in the video smiling at "her outside the lens"—did he foresee everything? Does this tape hold the secret of him being a hermit cultivator?
