Yin Wangshu becomes a nanny for the Mo family to escape debt, hoping to grasp a new lease on life. But an accident caused by her leads to the employer's death. Overwhelmed with guilt, she signs a "guardianship agreement" with the employer's 13-year-old son, Mo Xingshuo, staying as his nanny until he matures. For five years, she raises the sensitive and stubborn boy into a gentle young man, while she remains trapped in the guilt of being a "sinner". On his 18th birthday, he suddenly pins her against the balcony, eyes red, and says: "I want you to be my light, not my nanny." Just then, the truth about the employer's death emerges—the "accident" was a deliberate plot? This companionship born from the "abyss" finally becomes mutual redemption.
