Su Xiaoman, owner of a community noodle shop, is struggling to keep her business afloat due to skyrocketing rent. Half a year ago, she took in Gu Jingshen, a man on the run from debt, one late night, and made him a bowl of yangchun noodles with an extra egg. Gu left a note saying, "I owe you a bowl—I’ll repay ten thousand gold," which Xiaoman dismissed as a joke. Until one day, Gu reappears in a sharp suit as the CEO of a listed group. He not only pays her rent but also confesses that he’d tried to end his life after his company went bankrupt—and that bowl of noodles gave him the courage to live. This time, he’s back not just to repay "ten thousand gold," but to give her a lifetime of his heart.
