Freshly graduated office worker Lin Xiao has been facing one setback after another at work. By accident, she stumbles upon the mysterious No.1 Pawnshop deep in an old alley. The shopkeeper claims that any object can be exchanged for any wish. Desperate to turn her life around, Lin Xiao trades her late grandma’s only scarf for a long-awaited promotion, only to find her new boss is the old rival who indirectly pushed her grandma into a tough spot years ago.
