Ordinary urban girl Lin Wan wakes up to a bizarre phenomenon: ancient people from different dynasties come to her home at fixed times weekly. Annoyed at first, she gradually gets used to resolving their obsessions—from Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty to Li Bai of the Tang Dynasty, each is shattered by the deviation between modern perspectives and historical records: When Zhu sees his glorified image in history books instead of real desolation in his later years, he breaks down immediately; Li Bai learns his poems are sung for thousands of years but has never seen neon lights... Amid ridiculous interactions, she gradually uncovers her obscure life secret behind their visits.
