Village boy Ale, a prodigy of the suona (Chinese horn), was rejected by a prestigious music academy due to poverty. A decade later, he bursts into an international folk music competition with his worn-out instrument. His performance of 'Hundred Birds Worshiping the Phoenix' stuns the audience, but judges dismiss it as 'rustic art unworthy of elite stages'. As controversy erupts, Ale suddenly reveals his ancestral copper reed—the lost secret of a millennium-old technique. When reed and suona unite, phantom birds soar overhead, silencing the hall. An elderly judge rises with trembling tears, unveiling a hidden legacy that will redefine tradition forever.
