Lin Wan seeks revenge for her sister’s wrongful death, treating Gu Jingshen—the wealthy heir she believes orchestrated the fatal car accident—as a “blade” to strike her enemy. Disguised as a meek assistant, she manipulates his power and trust to set traps. But when she finally gets the “evidence,” she discovers Gu Jingshen was the one who tried desperately to stop her sister from getting in the car, and the real culprit lurks behind her sister’s “fiancé.” Only then does she realize the late-night investigations shared with him have warmed the “blade’s” coldness—does she want vengeance, or the courage to let go of hatred and embrace her true feelings?
