Su Yin, a 95s Chinese style content creator, is planning to sell her grandfather's century-old bookshop to pay off her rent. While tidying up, she finds a yellow handwritten notebook *Chanting in Late Autumn* among dusty books, with a final letter from her grandfather in 1943 to a Kunqu opera actress tucked inside. It reveals a secret he kept for his whole life: he hid himself to run the shop to save the opera troupe and their unfinished romance. A young Kunqu actor who looks exactly like the actress then comes to claim the manuscript. Su Yin now has to fight demolition to save the shop and solve the 70-year-old romantic mystery.
