Lin Chuan, a nobody at a pawnshop, accidentally activates the "Yin-Yang Treasure Appraisal System" and gains "dual heavenly eyes"—he can not only identify antique authenticity and glimpse their past lives but also see ghosts attached to objects! His first use of the power helps an ancient maid ghost retrieve her century-old hairpin, earning his first fortune; yet it also attracts the pawnshop manager's jealousy, who sets a trap to humiliate him. Just then, Su Xiao, a relic restorer searching for her grandfather's belongings, calls him a "fraud"—until Lin Chuan finds her grandfather's pocket watch from a pile of scrap and even sees the ghost of her grandfather inside it, leaving Su Xiao stunned... Since then, the nobody becomes a "treasure appraiser". While joking with ghosts to fulfill their wishes, he goes from bickering with Su Xiao to falling in love with her. And as he solves antique mysteries, he uncovers the thousand-year-old secret behind the system!
