For ten years, Lin Wan has held tight to the firefly-shaped silver pendant left by the boy who saved her in her youth, waiting faithfully for her long-lost savior. On the town’s annual firefly festival, she finally meets a man named Chen Yu who looks exactly like the boy she remembers. But as they get along, she finds none of his habits or past memories match the details she’s cherished for a decade. A shocking twist later, she learns the man is actually Chen Ze, Chen Yu’s twin brother, who took his place to keep the promise back then—while the real Chen Yu has long forgotten that small, life-changing encounter. Lin Wan’s ten-year-long wait has turned out to be for a completely mistaken bond.
