Lin Wan, a rookie screenwriter dubbed a “firefly” for her focus on ordinary people’s stories, is publicly dismissed by Chen Mo, the industry’s “moonlight” -level top screenwriter: “Your stories can’t even light up yourself—how dare you compete with big productions?” But when Chen Mo is forced to join her low-budget project, he finds the convenience store auntie and delivery guy in her script hold the childhood warmth he’d long forgotten. When capital threatens to kill the project, Chen Mo stands with Lin Wan—this time, they’ll let the firefly’s light reach where moonlight can’t.
