Freshly graduated social animal Lin Xiaxia squeezes into an attic in a Shanghai alley, with most of her salary swallowed by rent and overtime till midnight being a daily routine. Only when she squats under the old locust tree at the alley entrance every night, under the faint light of countless fireflies, can she dive into her big daydreams: being a top fashion designer, opening a cozy healing shop, watching the sea with her crush senior. Until one day she accidentally finds that Grandpa Zhang, the shoe repairman downstairs, secretly fixed her torn work badge, and the florist next door always keeps her favorite chamomile secretly. Those seemingly unreachable big dreams have long been woven into a warm and tangible reality by the tiny kindnesses from people around her.
