Su Xiao, an ordinary office worker, rents a "cost-effective" apartment to save money, only to crash into the arms of top idol Gu Yanshen when she opens the door—turns out the landlord rented the same house to both of them! Forced to live together, Su has to help Gu hide his "life-idiot" side (like not knowing how to use a washing machine or putting three packs of salt in noodles) while dealing with paparazzi stakeouts and his agency's demands to return. Meanwhile, Gu secretly helps Su solve workplace bullying and even cooks (burnt) "love porridge" when she works overtime. When the "idol's perfect persona" collides with the "office worker's ordinary life," they go from bickering to secretly falling for each other. But Su can't help wondering: Will the shining star really fall in love with the ordinary her?
