After being laid off and dumped, Lin Youyou is forced to move into a shabby apartment in the old town, thinking her remaining life will be nothing but a mess. She meets Lu Chen, a taciturn old wood craftsman, at the alley. Lu Chen lives a slow, leisurely life with wood, and his attitude gradually heals Youyou's wounds.
