Once a rising star in the fireworks design industry, Su Wan hit rock bottom after her fiancé embezzled all her project funds and ruined her career. She brought her last batch of unfinished fireworks materials to an abandoned coastal workshop, planning to burn everything on New Year's Eve to say goodbye to her past once and for all. To her surprise, a mysterious man named Shen Jin was secretly testing the long-lost "Starfall" fireworks there. Shen Jin recognized Su Wan as the little girl he'd rescued years prior, and he had spent a decade guarding the firework seeds they'd buried together back then. As the New Year's bell tolled, Su Wan stood before the blazing workshop, torn between spiraling into total ruin and stepping into a new life lit up by fireworks.
