On a Halloween night, serial killer Michael Myers escapes from a psychiatric hospital and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield. Fifteen years after murdering his sister, he now targets survivor Laurie. As jack-o'-lanterns light the streets, the masked demon stalks in the moonlight. Unaware of the danger, Laurie and her friends soon realize this trick-or-treat game is turning into a real survival nightmare.
