Shen Shi, an old object restorer, receives a silver thorn bird pendant stained with dried blood late at night. Lin Wanwan, the mysterious woman who brings it, says, "It's waiting for its owner to keep the promise of death." As he restores the pendant, a photo of the orphanage he burned down in his childhood falls out——Ten years ago, he promised to escape with a girl called "Little Thorn," but she was trapped in a fire to save him, and he lost his memory due to trauma. Now Lin Wanwan's appearance not only reveals that "Little Thorn" is still alive but also uncovers the human trafficking conspiracy of the orphanage director back then. Shen Shi must choose between "the guilt of forgetting" and "the courage to find her." Under the moonlight, the pendant suddenly emits a faint chirp, exactly like the voice of the girl calling him in the fire all those years ago...
