Lin Xiaoman, owner of the "Guixu Homestay" at the foot of Yun Mountain, has lived with a yard full of camellias for five years. One day, Zhou Xing—her high school deskmate who vanished years ago—suddenly arrives. Now a photographer filming a Yun Mountain documentary, he can’t help stealing glances at her back as she wipes tables, away from the camera. While repairing an old wooden cabinet, Xiaoman finds a stack of unposted letters: "On graduation day, I stood outside your house with a camellia seedling but dared not knock." "When you helped me pick up my homework, the mountain wind blew your ponytail into my collar—my heart raced faster than during an 800-meter run."... Those unspoken words from years past were hidden in Yun Mountain’s winds by time. This time, with every frame of her in his camera, Zhou Xing is ready to say the confession that’s five years late—to the camellias, and to her.
