Office worker Lin Xiaoman, who worked overtime until midnight, stumbles into CEO Lu Jingshen's "breakdown scene" — the once arrogant business prodigy is sitting in an empty office with red eyes, clutching a bankruptcy notice. She tries to slip away, but Lu Jingshen stops her: "Pretend to be my girlfriend for three days to deal with debt-collecting suppliers, and I'll pay you three months' salary." Staring at her dwindling rent fund, she grits her teeth and agrees to "pull" this "crisis wool." But as they spend time together, she discovers Lu Jingshen's collapse goes beyond bankruptcy — he harbors guilt over his late mother, scars from a partner's betrayal, and even hides his love for sweet omurice. Gradually, Lin Xiaoman's "wool-pulling" turns into buying him omurice secretly and accompanying him to look through old photos. Two broken people, in each other's fragments, find the courage to stand up again.
