When cultural relic restorer Su Wan repairs an ancient jade inscribed with "Budu Lide," she frequently dreams of being A Du, the landlady of "Budu Inn" in Jiangnan, who fell in love with Shen Lide, a young general seeking refuge. They were separated by war, and Shen Lide promised "to meet again at Budu in the next life" before his supposed death.
