Three years ago, Zhang Mengyang was framed by her ex with a fake wedding video, branded the internet's mocked "fake video bride." Her wedding was ruined by rotten vegetables, and her fledgling acting career collapsed overnight. She went incognito to work as a clapper loader in Hengdian, turning her humiliation into the script *The Unfinished Wedding*. The script caught the eye of movie king Zhou Ailin—her quiet high school deskmate who'd secretly collected evidence to clear her name for three years. During filming, Zhou deliberately added seven takes of the "female lead's counterattack" scene. At the wrap party, he held a diamond ring and said, "The love letter I didn't dare give back then, I'm giving it now in another way." When Zhang won Best Screenwriter for the script, her ex knelt begging for reconciliation with a bankruptcy certificate. She wiped the pearl necklace Zhou just put on her and laughed: "The dirt you threw at me back then is enough to make you kneel for a lifetime."
