Lin Zhaozhao, an ancient book restorer, clings to the "Zhaoguang Bookstore" in the old neighborhood to fulfill her master's last wish, only to meet Gu Shen, a returnee architect tasked with demolishing the area. The two, locked in a fierce standoff, are drawn together by a copy of *The Book of Songs* Zhaozhao is restoring—inside lies an unsent love letter from Gu Shen's grandmother, a regret from the old days. When the demolition order comes, Zhaozhao's resolve to protect the bookstore with her life shatters Gu Shen's belief that "architecture means innovation," while Gu Shen's hidden tenderness beneath his tough exterior slowly thaws Zhaozhao's heart, frozen by the loss of her master. In this battle between the "guardian of old times" and the "builder of new cities," can love become the light that bridges the past and future?
