Office worker Chen Mo devotes himself to coding and caring for stray cats, spending his off-duty time eating fast food and playing with strays, turning down friends' gatherings to avoid romantic troubles. However, a capable and beautiful female director is newly appointed to his company, his childhood sweetheart returns to press him to keep their childhood "engagement", and even his roommate shows unusual attentiveness to him. To fend off these courtship attempts, Chen Mo uses ridiculous tactics like pretending to be poor, acting like a jerk and posing as a social recluse. But after being carefully taken care of by the female director when he passed out from overwork, he finds himself starting to abandon his "no dating" rule, turning his peaceful single life upside down.
