Out-of-work young man Chen Mo launched a paid live-stream fortune-telling service to make quick cash, charging 3000 yuan per reading, expecting only mockery. But wealthy Mrs. Li, a generous socialite, kept transferring large sums and begged him to locate her missing son. Chen Mo bluffed his way through with sharp observation and quick thinking, only to find the clues Mrs. Li held were closely linked to his own father who went missing a decade ago. This scammy live show quickly spiraled out of control, dragging him into a dilemma between lies and two generations' hidden secrets.
