Lin Xiaoman, a modern fast-food worker who stays up late making hamburgers daily, accidentally knocks over an antique compass in her shop while closing. Suddenly, she travels back to Bianjing City in ancient times—surprisingly, her hamburger stall has swapped spaces with her too! But the ancients, who’ve never seen hamburgers, think it’s a "demonic item" and try to destroy her stall. Just then, a cold, robed young man (secretly the crown prince on an incognito trip) defends her, asking for daily hamburgers in return. However, Lin finds that each hamburger consumes the compass’s energy—if it runs out, she’ll never return to the modern world. Torn between her urgent desire to go back and her growing feelings for the prince, plus a mysterious black-clad man eyeing the compass… Will she choose her way home or her heart?
