Lin Xiaoman, a wedding planner, never uses red paper to fold roses. Seven years ago, 999 red paper roses she made after three sleepless nights became her unspoken confession—right before giving them to Gu Chuan, she saw him walk into a cinema with her best friend. Xiaoman braces for old pain, only to learn Xiao Mei Gui's mother is the courier who was supposed to deliver her flowers. Gu Chuan never got her roses—he found the courier's dropped ones and mistook the courier for his "Rose Girl." When Gu Chuan pulls out the crumpled paper roses he's saved for seven years, and when Xiao Mei Gui tugs her hand saying, "Dad's been looking for this flower forever," those feelings frozen by misunderstanding finally start to unfurl, ready to bloom again in a second spring.
