Lin Ashen, a Chaoshan young man, has been obsessed with Yingge Dance since childhood and is determined to revive the old routines passed down by his grandfather. However, his father, haunted by the memory of his grandfather collapsing from overworking on Yingge Dance, calls it a "futile struggle." To raise money for his grandmother's surgery, Ashen delivers takeout during the day and secretly practices drumbeats at night. He even gets trapped in a mountain storm while searching for the lost "Dragon-Tiger Flag." Luckily, his best friend Ajie and Huang Feiyu, an intangible cultural heritage researcher, rescue him and help him secure a spot in the provincial intangible cultural heritage exhibition. When he performs the "Two Dragons Emerging from the Sea" on stage, his father in the audience tears up—his grandfather's regret is finally fulfilled by his son's efforts.
