Lin Chuan, 28, jumped off a building after his business failed—only to wake up in 1980, back in his 18-year-old body in a remote mountain village. Now, he has not just 28 years of business acumen, but a “hunting sense” superpower: he can hear a hare’s heartbeat 300 meters away and smell a wild boar under the snow! But when he sells a hare for money, the village chief scolds him for “wasting time,” neighboring hunter Wang Qiang steals his prey and threatens, “This mountain is mine,” even Su Xiaomei, the village barefoot doctor he crushes on, tells him to “farm seriously.” Lin Chuan refuses to give in: he buys a shotgun with game money, gathers poor lads to form the “Falcon Hunting Team,” takes down wild boar herds, sells ginseng and deer antler to county shops, and signs a long-term contract with a state-owned store. When he hangs the “Falcon Agricultural Products Company” sign at the village entrance, those who doubted him crowd in with their goods—and Su Xiaomei, blushing, hands him ginger tea: “Next time you hunt, take me along?”
