Lin Ye, a reborn mining worker, wakes up only one hour before a catastrophic mine disaster. Carrying traumatic memories from his past life, he realizes the reckless blasting ordered by the mine will awaken ancient underground monsters. He steps up to stop it but is mocked by colleagues blinded by profits. The moment the blast goes off, a giant python and a Cthulhu-like terror burst from the earth, killing almost everyone except Lin Ye. Trapped in the doomed mine, Lin Ye gathers his few loyal companions, uses his knowledge of the mine and monsters' weaknesses to fight back, defying fate and turning the tide against the monstrous beasts.
