Lin Xiaoman, an ordinary office worker, accidentally won a billion-dollar lottery prize. Confused whether the people around her were nice to her for sincerity or money, she decided to hide the good news and start a "pretending to be poor" test: She faked a broken leg asking her stingy boyfriend to accompany her to the hospital, but he made an excuse to leave; She lied about losing her job to borrow 500 yuan from her snobbish best friend, who said she just bought a limited-edition bag and had no money; She even deliberately showed her "cheap homemade lunch" to her cold boss... When she thought everyone was fake, her roommate Chen Mo silently paid her rent, took her to the hospital, and said, "Whether you're rich or poor, I want to be with you." What will this test of "sincerity" finally reveal about who is worth cherishing?
