After a car accident, contemporary artist Zhuang Xiao falls into a coma and finds his consciousness transported to the Warring States period, becoming the butterfly in Zhuang Zhou's famous dream. Trapped in this surreal world where reality and illusion intertwine, he must decipher Zhuangzi's philosophical riddles to return to his own time. As the boundaries between dream and reality blur, Zhuang Xiao begins to question: Is he Zhuang Zhou dreaming of a butterfly, or the butterfly dreaming of being Zhuang Zhou? A mind-bending journey of existence and perception unfolds.
