Lin Xiaoman, an office nobody, gets drunk after overtime and tumbles into an old locust tree pit in her community—only to bind to the "Immortal Fate System"! The sarcastic system forces her to do absurd tasks: retrieving a pancake lady’s tricycle, being a "celestial poop scooper" for strays. The rewards? "Pure Heart Spell" to counter workplace PUA, "Tracking Skill" to find a neighbor’s lost grandchild! Then there’s Gu Jingshen, the new icy next-door neighbor—he’s actually a fallen immortal undergoing tribulation! Their first meet: Lin, covered in pancake crumbs, makes the cold Gu laugh. As they team up, Lin goes from a nobody to an "immortal office worker" while falling for Gu sweetly—Gu shields her from task failures (like gaining 3kg), she uses "Heart-reading Talisman" to help Gu with his tribulation. But wait, the system is a fragment of Gu’s lost immortal soul? A funny, sweet immortal-human love story sparked by a drunk night—full of counterattacks, laughter, and hidden secrets!
