Old Zhou, a scavenger in the urban village, always forges knives in his shabby blacksmith shop, mocked by neighbors as a "crazy old man". Until people from the city's top sword hall arrive with a broken blade, begging him to replicate the legendary "Iron-Forging Hand" sword—when Old Zhou lifts his hammer, the hall's boss suddenly kneels: "You're the swordsmith grandmaster from years ago!" Ten years prior, Old Zhou was hunted down by enemies for forging the "Crimson Flame Blade" and had to hide as a scavenger. Now those enemies are back to steal his forging secret and have kidnapped his only family, his granddaughter. Old Zhou has to rekindle the furnace, using each razor-sharp knife to save his granddaughter and make his former foes fear the "Iron-Forging Hand" once more!
