Gu Shiyan, a burnt-out office worker, just faced the double blow of unemployment and a cheating girlfriend. Late one night, he finds a girl in ancient silver armor curled up outside his door—Li Zhaozhao (nicknamed Li Meimei), who claims to be the direct daughter of a military family in the Daqi Dynasty. She fell through a 'glowing vortex' while chasing enemies and traveled to modern times. Gu Shiyan tries to send her to the police, but she insists on staying, saying 'I like you'. From then on, the ancient female general becomes his 'domestic tyrant roommate': she uses military tactics to help him take down workplace bullies, uses her sword sheath to teach his ex a lesson, and even turns the rental apartment into a 'mini general's mansion'. But when the jade token around Li Zhaozhao's waist lights up, the truth of her time travel is revealed—their fate was already written a hundred years ago?
