Top lawyer Su Wan falls from grace to a law firm handyman due to a "forged evidence" scandal, and is forced to collaborate with her "arch-nemesis" — Gu Jingshen, a cold-blooded business investigator. Gu seems to pick on her at every turn, but secretly preserves the evidence of her offending a major conglomerate years ago to protect an old town renovation project. When Su resolves to fight back, they unravel the frame-up truth together, only to discover Gu is the heir to that conglomerate — he has endured for years to overthrow his father's injustice. From bickering foes to mutual guardians, Su clears her name and stages a comeback, while Gu lets go of his "power" obsession. As they guard justice side by side, their spats turn into sweet affection, weaving an urban love story where sin tests justice and love defies all odds.
