Su Lu, a boatwoman in the Reed Catkins Marsh, rescues Xiao Bai, a gravely injured young man in white robes, only to invite disaster—her adoptive father, the old boatman, is killed by Prince Qi’s men. Su Lu then learns Xiao Bai is the crown prince framed for treason.
