My JK River Goddess, Don't Run Away!

share time: 2026-01-25 00:31:17

Su Xiao, a 25-year-old corporate slave who lives by the motto “Lie flat rather than strive,” has her boring life turned upside down by a “river god’s pengci (fake accident to extort)”. One late night, while munching on a bun by the river, she’s pounced on by a soaking-wet girl in a JK uniform named Xiaotang—who steals her bun and claims to be the moat’s river goddess. Xiaotang says she lost her “Spirit Pearl” and must bind to “the unluckiest human (Su Xiao)” to stay mortal. Since then, Su Xiao’s life becomes a hilarious routine of “raising a clumsy river god”: shell “dowry” on her bed, “fish assistants” in her computer to slack off, and Xiaotang holding a trident yelling “Don’t bully my human!” when she’s scolded. But just as Su Xiao gets used to this “trouble,” Xiaotang cries and takes out a glass marble—Su Xiao’s childhood “toy” from the river, which is actually the Spirit Pearl! A thousand years ago, Water God Xiaotang loved a human girl who turned her soul into the pearl to let Xiaotang find her in reincarnation—and Su Xiao is that girl. Now, Xiaotang’s “mission” isn’t retrieving the pearl, but winning back her bride!
