After the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, photographer Lin Xia is sent to Beichuan to document post-disaster reconstruction. Amidst the ruins, she meets Chen Mo, a volunteer doctor searching for signs of life in the debris. From initial clashes to deep understanding, they witness the city's pain and rebirth together. When Lin's lens captures Chen's hidden past, a redemptive journey transcending life and death begins.
