Su Ye, a succubus, is forced to go undercover as "Su Ye" (a male alias) to collect 100 evil souls for her promotion. Just as she locks onto her target, she runs into Gu Ming, a newly transferred detective investigating a serial disappearance case. Not only does Gu Ming catch her in the middle of her "hunt," but they also become roommates due to a rental mix-up! The victims of the case are exactly Su Ye's "prey," yet she discovers these souls have been tampered with by a mysterious force. She must hide her succubus identity and male disguise while torn between "completing her mission" and "helping Gu Ming solve the case"—and worst of all, she's falling for this stubbornly righteous cop! When the mastermind is revealed to be her demon superior, she faces a choice: remain a "soul-eating monster," or stand with Gu Ming and become "the light that fights darkness."
