Thirty-two-year-old Bei Piao screenwriter Lin Xiaoman rushes home upon hearing her mother's "serious illness", only to be stranded with her high school crush Chen Mo in a villager's house during a snowstorm. She discovers that the man she missed due to cowardice three years ago has been secretly keeping her New Year—changing light bulbs for her mom, saving her childhood candy jar, and even dog-earing her scripts. When New Year's Eve fireworks rise, Chen Mo takes out the unshared glass marble from years ago: "This year, want to put up Spring Festival couplets together?" And her mother's "illness"? Just a trick to bring her back to catch the "spring" that's waited three years.
