Lin Xiaoman is the "flawless good girl" in the neighborhood—preparing for civil service exams, going on blind dates, and obeying her parents. Everything changes when she discovers her blind date Ma Shichuan's secret: he's the editor of her anonymously serialized dark comic *Wild Rose*! Ma Shichuan threatens with her manuscript: "Either reveal your identity as 'Wild Rose,' or fake a relationship with me to deal with your parents." Forced to stick together, they bicker and sabotage each other, only to find they both rebel against their arranged lives—her rebellion is in the comics, his温柔 is hidden under sarcasm. When the mask of "obedience" breaks, can they break free from the chains of "shoulds" and find their rebellious selves together?
