Lin Chuan, who was expelled from his martial arts school five years ago, is forced to return to the Northeast to save his terminally ill sister. However, he uncovers the truth behind his father's death—his father was framed and killed by the underworld boss Master Wei, who is now plotting to take over the remaining forces left by his father. What's more heart-wrenching is that Su Wan, his ex-lover who separated due to a misunderstanding, has become Master Wei's adopted daughter. She tests Lin Chuan for Wei while secretly hiding evidence left by his father. Lin Chuan must uncover the truth and protect his sister amid danger, all while wondering: Is Su Wan truly on the enemy's side, or has she never let go of their past? And whose neck is Master Wei's hand reaching for next?
