Lin Xiaoman, a down-and-out modern screenwriter, accidentally travels into her own ancient romance script while staying up late revising it, becoming the "crazy young lady" rejected by the general's mansion. To change her fate, she breaks into the barracks of General Gu Zhao, the Northern Town Defender, but is detained as a spy. Lin uses her "god's eye view" to expose the enemy's ambush and wins over the entire army with instant noodles, gradually melting Gu Zhao's cold exterior. Just as their affection grows, she discovers her time travel is due to the script's ending: "The general dies a tragic death"—will she stay in the past to rewrite destiny, or return to the modern world for her ordinary life?
