Widowed for thirty years, Mrs. Lin returns from overseas just to find her biological son—Fu Jingchuan, the feared "King of Hell" in Hong Kong, whom she had to give up for adoption due to his severe illness back then. But when she holds the faded safety lock from his childhood and knocks on the Fu family's door, what greets her is Fu Jingchuan's gun pressed to her forehead: "Which liar are you, daring to pretend to be my mother?" It turns out Fu Jingchuan misunderstood the adoption as "abandonment," and thirty years of hatred have become his uncrossable line. On one side is Mrs. Lin's wholehearted redemption, on the other is Fu Jingchuan's hysterical revenge. Will this long-overdue mother-son reunion thaw the frozen heart, or push them both into a deeper abyss of pain?
